Dr. Mark was born and raised in Illinois and is the youngest in a family of seven children. All girls except for one boy, who, according to her mother, who laughingly claims, was a test baby and decided "no more boys". Dr. Mark, BA Science and Nursing, is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Also, Dr. Mark studied and Loyola University in Chicago and in 1998 achieved her doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. She is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and currently sits as an Examiner of the Texas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is a certified Designated Doctor for the State of Texas and works for insurance guardians reviewing other Chiropractic treatment for quality and compliance. She also works for several of the larger insurance companies to guarantee compliance and quality Chiropractic care.
Along with Dr. Mark's long list of credentials she maintains lifestyle of a vegetarian and an athlete having recently completed several marathons including the Huntsville Sunmart Texas Trail Endurance 50 mile run.
